Since the establishment in 1982 of the first laboratories on the Carso plateau surrounding Trieste, AREA Science Park has become one of the leading multi-sector science parks in Europe. Its main objective is to foster the development of the territory through innovation and the establishment of a solid link between research and the business world. At this moment AREA comprises 84 centres, companies and institutions with more than 1800 people engaged in activities of research and development, technology transfer, training and specialized services.

What we are about, a profile of Via Mare Magazine:

Via Mare is a bilingual, bimonthly (6 issues per year) Italian/English magazine dedicated to the marine sector. In fact, Via Mare is the only bilingual Italian magazine aimed solely at boating professionals.

Readers are mostly from the naval industry: boat builders, boat yards, distributors and yacht designers. Via Mare aim is to provide its readers in-depth technical material, not only news from the industry but also advanced research in the several fields concerning boat building.

The magazine has so far achieved its aim, with a positive feedback from the professional yachting industry in Italy and a growing interest from abroad.

In every issues is also treated a wide selection of information about materials and equipment.

Every two months Via Mare provides valuable information to the ever expanding boating industry offering insight and updated know-how.

Via Mare is the Official Publication of Assocompositi (Italian association of composites) and it is distributed to exhibitors and visitors at different trade shows in Italy and Europe such as JEC in Paris and METS in Amsterdam.

We welcome participants who wish to exhibit products during the conference. The Show Area is located in the hall in front of the conference rooms. Due to the limited number of exhibition spaces (exhibitions booths), they will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
